Refund policy
At Le Village, we want you to feel confident and happy with every piece you bring into your slow-living space. We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must:
- Be in its original, unused condition (unworn for clothing, unused for home & decor items)
- Still have all tags attached
- Be returned in its original packaging
- Include proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
We strongly recommend ordering a sample first if you’re unsure about size or fit.
How to Start a Return
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery at villageavenueco@gmail.com with your order number and reason for the return.
- We will review your request and reply with approval and return instructions (including a return shipping label when possible).
- Ship the item back to the address we provide.
Important: Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted. Returns without a tracking number are at your own risk.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded (except in cases of manufacturing defects):
- Customized or personalized products (all our print-on-demand apparel and most lifestyle items are made to order)
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
- Opened or used wellness items (candles, journals, essential oils, etc.) for hygiene reasons
- Perishable goods, hazardous materials, or flammable items (if applicable)
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If the item arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong item, contact us immediately at villageavenueco@gmail.com with clear photos. We will happily arrange a replacement or full refund (including return shipping in most cases).
Refunds & Exchanges
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund or exchange was approved.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility (unless the item is defective or we made an error).
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply for change-of-mind returns on non-defective items.
- Exchanges: The fastest way is to return the original item and place a new order once the return is approved.
European Union Customers (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, provided the item is returned in its original unworn/unused condition with tags and packaging.
Canadian Consumer Rights
Our policy is designed to work alongside your rights under Canadian provincial consumer protection laws for distance sales. Nothing in this policy limits those statutory rights.
